The Office for Quantum was established as part of the National Quantum Strategy to support the development and adoption of quantum technologies in the UK, allowing the UK to become a quantum-enabled economy. The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) focuses on improving people’s lives by maximising the potential of science and technology to drive economic growth, improve the performance and productivity of government, and empower citizens.
